Lola Luisa’s 95th Birthday

Client work: Banknote party favors celebrating Lola Luisa’s 95th birthday. Each banknote features portraits of Lola Luisa and imagery that touches on central elements of her daily life. The set of 6 illustrations correspond to the 6 colorful denominations of the Philippine peso banknotes at the time. Sketches in graphite pencil and watercolor of various elements in the final versions of each banknote.
